Who are you?

I’m Lexodus, a DJ and producer that started with Spin Society in 2022. I initially started my career in production with a passion to create songs from the ground up. I grew up in a household where all genres were on the table. I found artists like Amy Winehouse, Sade, Nirvana, Journey, and Timbaland inspiring. From a young age, I’ve had the desire to combine inspiration from my favorite artists to create a fresh and unique sound. I found that DJ’ing is an outlet to let these sounds be heard on a larger scale. 

What's your DJ philosophy?

Flexibility is my best friend when it comes to curating the perfect event. I move through the night based on energy.  My approach involves a deep understanding of the people present, allowing me to curate an experience that resonates with their mood and vibe. When I plan my sets, I do start with a rough playlist to give me a framework, but I prefer to keep things flexible. This flexibility allows me to respond to the crowd's energy in real-time. Each audience is unique and what works one night may not work the next. Energy and spontaneity are at the heart of my DJ’ing. They guide my decisions and elevate the experience for everyone involved, making each set unique and truly alive. My goal is to create a shared journey, one that evolves with the audience and leaves a lasting impression long after the last track fades out

I contribute a unique blend of creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to crafting immersive musical experiences. My biggest strength lies in my ability to read and respond to the crowd's energy, creating a memorable atmosphere where attendees feel connected to each other and the music. Through thorough preparation and collaboration with clients, I tailor each set to reflect their vision, ensuring every event resonates with their desired vibe. By weaving together tracks with seamless transitions and open improvisation, I create a journey that surprises and delights, ultimately transforming any occasion into an unforgettable celebration.
