Who are you?

I'm Mike Mason-Love, a military brat from South Carolina. I've been a dj for 14yrs now, but I've always had a big appreciation for music of all kinds. Ever since I was a kid, I've always enjoyed incorporating music in everything I do. I spent the first few years of my career following great djs and learning the importance of being original, creative, and showing my personality through music. 

 

What's your DJ philosophy?

I always want my performances to be memorable. When I'm doing an event I try to find those records that everyone forgot they loved so much. If I can get my crowd to let go and fully live in the moment while they're out on the dance floor, then I can go home knowing I did a great job. 

 

What do you contribute to Spin Society?

Spin Society DJs are all very talented and bring a unique set of skills to the table. What I bring to Spin Society is my ability to adjust to new and unexpected situations. Being a dj and in the military I know things aren't always going to go as planned. Early in my career, I learned to stay on my toes and be ready to make last minute adjustments. My adaptability keeps my clients happy.
